You must make a reservation. Unfortunately we are not able to offer a wait list option.
You are welcome to visit the Bullitt Center exhibition space located in the Urban Ecology Partnership, which is open from noon to 5:00, Tuesday - Saturday, located on the ground floor adjacent to McGilvra Park.
In addition to the Living Proof 1.0 Exhibit about the building, there is also limited access to the back-of-house and "irresistible stair." Graduate architecture student docents from the University of Washington are on-hand to answer questions.
Tours start in the Urban Ecology Partnership on the ground floor of the Bullitt Center. Please bring a copy of your Brown Paper Ticket. Your tour docent will collect tickets before the tour starts.
Volunteer docents from the Urban Ecology Partnership lead the 45-minute building tour. The tours will include time in the building's exhibition space, mechanical and electrical rooms, the composting and water filtration systems in the basement and the building's 'irresistible' stair.
Public tours are held at 4pm, Tuesday - Saturday by reservation ONLY, and are limited to 20 people per day. If you are interested in reserving space on a tour, please visit Brown Paper Tickets to make a reservation online.
Professional group tours with a technical focus are also available. If you are interested in making reservations for a professional group tour, please contact Deborah Sigler, The Urban Ecology Partnership’s Program Coordinator, by email: UEP@uw.edu
